See Marietas islands

The Marietas islands (spanish : Islas Marietas) is a group of small islands a few kilometers off from the coast of Nayarit, Mexico. They are a national park where fishing and hunting are forbidden.

Protection by the government has created an environment conducive to the development of the marine ecosystem, and is a popular location for snorkeling and scuba diving. People usually report seeing manta rays, sea turtles, octopus, wild dolphins, whales and thousands of species of fish around the islands. The islands as well are hiding few virgin beaches, the famous Hidden beach (the Beach of Love) among them.
